All the Boxwalla boxes I’ve received in the past have contained multiple brands. The June box, however, contains three products, all from Earthwise Beauty. For any of you who haven’t heard of it, Earthwise Beauty is a US-based green beauty brand founded by herbalist Ava Zhan. I’d tried most of the products in the box already, so I had a good idea in terms of what to expect. What I find amazing about Earthwise Beauty is that their products are unlike anything else on the green beauty market. Ava uses very unusual ingredients in unique ways, and I really admire that about the brand. This unique approach is reflected in their packaging, which is colourful and instantly recognisable. People seem to either love it or hate it: I personally like it for the fact that it makes the brand instantly recognisable (and gives it personality) in what has become an endless sea of Miron glass bottles. I knew I’d love Boxwalla’s latest beauty box even before I tried it, and I’m pleased to report that I love it even more than I thought I would. Called ‘The Wandering Woman’s English Spring,’ the box contains two deeply hydrating, ultra-light products from Amly Botanicals and Twelve Beauty (perfect picks for spring, if you live  in the Northern Hemisphere). Without further ado, here are my impressions of the two products featured in this box. View Post

I know I’m late to the party considering this box is already sold out and the next box has been announced, but better late than never, right? So here goes:

Overall Impressions: I received this February box early March, and I have been using it on and off for the last few weeks. It’s a great box, and all it’s been getting a lot of love on Instagram. I really admire the contents of this box, but unfortunately, two out of the three products in this box didn’t work for me. Even though my personal experience with this particular box has been mixed, the quality of all the products in this box are outstanding and I’d highly recommend it overall. View Post

Green beauty boxes are a great way to discover new brands and products, and Boxwalla is one of the rising stars in this segment. All their curations have been receiving unanimously-positive reviews from my fellow bloggers, and I was so excited and honoured to receive a press sample of their latest curation from their founder Lavanya. Called ‘Let It Glow! Let It Glow! Let It Glow!’ the December box features three green beauty products to show you three ways to glow. Here are my impressions:

The Box:

The beauty box came beautifully packaged in a large, matte box. The Boxwalla logo reminds me of Indian rice flour line drawings called kolam. Intentional or not, I thought it was a nice touch. The contents in the box were packaged with care and wrapped in luxe-looking parchment paper. View Post
