IMG_5650I have acne-scarred skin prone to hyperpigmentation, so I’m always looking for products that smooth and brighten my skin. I thought Kypris Elixir III was amazing, and while I still love it, these three products below take brightening/scar reduction to a whole new level for me. I’ve listed the products based on my order of preference, however, this is not the order I apply them. I double cleanse (Tata Harper Nourishing Oil Cleanser + Regenerating Cleanser), follow with a few spritzes of In Fiore Toning Essence and then use a pump of The Little Alchemist Ultra C Radiance Serum. I use the Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask once or twice a week, and use it as an overnight spot treatment whenever I get a pimple. View Post

Tata Harper Oil Cleanser
It’s no secret that I’m a Tata Harper fan boy: my Instagram is sprinkled with her green and gold glass bottles. Her products tick all the boxes for me. Great packaging, clean ingredients, fuss-free textures, visible results — there is nothing not to like. Lately, I’ve been having some disappointing experiences with some of my favourite brands, so I was bracing myself when I tried this — but I needn’t have, this cleanser is absolutely amazing!

What is it?

It’s an oil cleanser, so it’s great as a first cleanse to remove oil, makeup and sunscreen before a water-based cleanser, or on its own as a gentle morning cleanse. Tata recommends massaging it on dry skin and rinsing it off with warm water, but I find that I absolutely need a washcloth for this one — it does not get everything off without it. In conjunction with a washcloth/muslin, it works as an excellent makeup remover. I usually follow this with Tata’s Regenerating Cleanser. View Post

Some products have a cult status for a reason, and Tata’s Regenerating Cleanser is one of them. It’s one of the most commonly instagrammed green beauty products, it’s not surprising why it’s so popular. In addition to the luxe packaging and great ingredients, this cleanser really works. All of Tata’s cleansers are great, but this one has that extra oomph, probably because of all its gentle exfoliating ingredients. Rumour has it that Tata herself uses this cleanser daily; and if you are new to Tata Harper and want to splurge on one product, I’d definitely recommend this one.
